In Canberra he slept in the porta cot - in a separate room to us - and had his exact routine as at home. And straight to sleep :) one night hubby & I went to a wedding and OB was put to bed by my wonderful sis in law and he went straight down. So proud of him :) and then last night he was in his cousins cot and had about 5 mins of crying and then was asleep.
I now feel confident to go on holidays and be able to sleep :) yay!! Being on more holidays!!!!
Oh and he travelled so well. It took us 9 hours to get to Canberra. OB slept his nap in the car. Then had awake time. Then dinner and into pyjamas (and to sleep with the seat backwards). It was awesome. Once he went to bed at 7 we could drive till we arrived.
On the way home he was great too. He got a little bit fidgety about 3 hrs from home (but we forgot he didn't have much lunch) - so we have him some food and he was great the rest of the way! Such a fun toddler age!!
